Oak Bay speed signs in wrong locale

Congratulations to Oak Bay for finally realizing we have a speeding problem and having new speed signs installed.

But on Oak Bay Avenue? The mayor wants to introduce these signs to the residents and feels the Avenue is the best place to do it. Who speeds on that street? It’s next to impossible with the congestion, and of course the myriad of crosswalks.

Cadboro Bay Road is by far the best location and I’d be willing to bet that the majority of people who (try to) drive on Oak Bay Avenue have seldom driven on Cadboro Bay Road.
