Uptown deli closure is Alberni's loss

To the Editor,

We are very sorry to see that Alberni Deli’icious deli on Third Avenue has been closed.  Proprietor Wendy Telford served up excellent homemade style breakfasts and lunches there, for 15 years—good wholesome food at lower prices than one might expect.

Despite having regular customers, the profit margin became too thin and Wendy had no choice except to close up.  This business will be missed by all the “regulars”.

We wish Wendy, all the best on whatever her next endeavour might be.

Jiskje and Bill Randles,

Port Alberni
