Arrowvale still a farm market

Re: Market Frenzy, July 3.

As longtime Alberni Valley farmers my family and I are always happy to see newspaper coverage of local agriculture like the front page story in your July 3 issue, “Market Frenzy: Farm market trend explodes in Alberni Valley.”

In reading the accompanying article we were surprised to learn that Arrowvale Farm and Campground’s market has come and gone. As the proprietors of Arrowvale Campground and Collins Farm we wish to assure your writers, and the many loyal customers who purchase meat and produce from us, that we have not “gone” anywhere.

Grass fed beef is available at our regular Saturday market at the farm year around. During the summer months we are open daily with select seasonal fruit and vegetables and occasional U-pick opportunities as well. We encourage you and your readers to check out special events and product availability at Arrowvale in our regular advertisements in your newspaper.
