Striking for students

I am giving up my pay because I believe in better quality education for children in British Columbia. Some people think that teachers are using students as pawns, keeping them out of school so that we can fight for a higher salary.

The reality is I won’t have enough money to pay for my July rent. I am a single mother with two children.
