Garbage changes make no sense

The Editor,

Re. “Separate glass from recycling” (The Tri-City News, May 23).

I sent a very similar letter to the city of Port Moody and its response was that its staff will be looking at the increased contents of recyclable items in the garbage and possibly change new regulations.

The whole thing doesn’t make a lot of sense to me.

Could we not have separate containers for glass like it was a few years ago? Pickups could be on separate weeks.
