Inappropriate photo

It was the Third Annual Civic Bike Challenge where 68 cyclists from kids to seniors, the two Oceanside mayors, many of the town staff, etc. enjoying a leisurely and safe ride through our towns and The NEWS found the one photo with two cyclists without helmets and one of them on a cell phone.

Did you want to make a anti cyclist statement on purpose? Qualicum Beach and Parksville are both committed to improving the safety on the street and the bike challenge ride is about a bike-safe friendly community.

But if you are more interested on making an article about bike safety, and there is much to improve on the motorist as well as from the cyclist side, I would be delighted to work with you, and there the featured picture would be appropriate.
