PENINSULA: Transit priorities

Several times recently, while waiting at the 5th and Beacon bus stop for the No. 81 community bus, I have seen it sail by without stopping. It was full of tourists from Swartz Bay going to Butchart Gardens.

It is totally unacceptable that tourists can monopolize public transport to the exclusion of Peninsula residents. Transit puts a bigger bus on at weekends but that does not help Monday to Thursday.
