Clean up

In regards to garbage, garbage cans and the proper disposal of said garbage, it seems Vernon has a shortage of garbage cans.

But that being said, people are also responsible for the disposal of their own garbage.

Don't just drop your trash where you stand. Find an appropriate garbage can. Do we want to keep our town clean?

It's our responsibility, no one else's. In certain places, you would get fined for littering. Maybe that should be in effect.

What we need is volunteers willing to pick up the trash. I'll do it. How about you?

Tourists to Vernon, I'm sure, would be more impressed and want to come back to a clean place.
