City’s investment in Centennial Pool keeps the Campbell River Salmon Kings running

Filed for publication with the Mirror

Dear Mayor and Council;

For the past three years, the fate of Centennial Pool and that of the Campbell River Salmon Kings has been in doubt.  The investment made into Centennial Park upgrades and now the significant investment in capital repairs to the pool will allow us to continue to develop swimmers for some years to come.

The Campbell River Salmon Kings have been part of the fabric of the community for 53 years, we appreciate the commitment that the mayor and  council have shown to youth sport in our community and we look forward to seeing all of our swimmers this spring and for years to come.

Thank you City of Campbell River for your support of our pool and of our swimmers.

Thank you for your continued support of the Campbell River Salmon Kings and youth activity in our community.

Dean Dobrinsky, president,

Campbell River Salmon Kings
