Kudos to Boyce

Kudos to Richard Boyce (Kayaking the ‘deleted’ islands in Hecate Strait, Dec. 3 edition of The NEWS).

Boyce’s efforts to bring forward the realities of our north coast islands and the diversity of species that depend on the eco systems at risk is worthy of a medal.

Protecting the B.C. coast, the wildlife and a lifeline for survival, our ocean, is an important issue for many. However, too many people are unaware of the environmental disasters potentially faced if the Northern Gateway Pipeline goes through.

B.C .will never benefit from development of this pipeline. We are a stepping stone with everything to lose.

In support of Richard, I write a plea to the public to follow his online documentaries at www.CoastalTarSands.ca.

See for yourselves what we have to lose.
