Pamper your pet — literally
Editor:
I love cats. I love dogs. I love any animal in their place.
I have a dog who only goes outside in our yard. We have had cats in the past — spayed, so they do not spray.
I love my neighbours and we have a wonderful, helpful, friendly neighbourhood.
But, we have one problem — roaming male cats. They might be neutered, but neutered male cats and do spray.
There are a few new ones in the area, so they are all marking their territory outside, on my barbecue cover, on my back steps, on my porch and on my back door.
Have you ever tried to wash this stuff off? It is very oily and it smells bad. In skunks, they use this oil for perfume base because it sticks so well.
This is, of course, a problem across the city.
So, please, please, I beg of cat owners — when they let Mr. Pussycat out to roam at large, put a diaper on him!
