Letter: Mail service jeopardized
To the editor:
The Canadian Union of Postal Workers have always supported door to door delivery.
With the recent break-ins of community mail boxes (CMB) in Surrey and the Okanagan Valley, it only proves that the costs of efficiency are jeopardizing the security of resident’ mail.
We all pay taxes so why does one group of people (CMB users) have to be forced to be at higher risk of identity theft compared to those that have the luxury of door to door delivery?
Write your MP and demand equal service.
