Community should support girls
Re: Letter expressed concerns about priest’s behaviour
These two young women were “afraid” to give testimony in open court because of what could happen to them.
I want to know why the religious community they are part of hasn’t come forward in support and defence of these girls to assure them they will be safe, and that this is the right and proper thing to do?
Or is it that the community knows full well these girls, allegedly violated by this priest, are in fact in danger from factions who would see them harmed, and therefore are themselves afraid to step up and support them?
