Mom pleads leave Gill alone

Re: Alberni School Closure: Gill parents feel ‘ambushed’, at www.albernivalleynews.com.
I am a parent concerned about the school district considering closing Gill School.
All my kids have gone there and my daughter is still there. Students have the support and native culture that goes on there; I will not put my daughter into another school.
Gill School rocks—the staff as well as the teachers; they are all very supportive in everthing they need.
I hope the trustees think again before they close that school.
There are Sproat Lake and Beaver Creek children who go to that school and it’s the best school ever.
