Thank you for the great article regarding wealth distribution.
You are now considered to be in the top one per cent if you earn $201,000 annually. Who are these people? Let’s take a look. Professors make $150,000 to $200,000 and university presidents make $500,000. Our ICBC pays its managers $150,000 and here in New West we pay our municipal managers $150,000.
This is the tip of the iceberg.
So if you want to be a one percenter you’d better go work for the government. We are heading for a private sector of paupers with no retirement but hey, at least we can fund the retirements of our government workers, eh?
