First Nations have benefitted
To the Editor,
Re: Idle No More protest set for Maffeo Sutton, Jan. 8.
We hear mostly about the sore plight of the First Nations.
On the other hand, they have received considerable benefits from their colonizers.
Among these benefits are things like hospitals, schools, buses, trains, cars, good roads, libraries, churches, housing, theatres, shops, sports places, the use of our widespread language, etc.
Compared to the billions of Third and Second World citizens, our aboriginals are very well off.
