Liberal MLA’s ouster smacks of hypocrisy

I’m not sure whether we should be outraged, or merely bemused by the decision of the B.C. Liberals – that grand old party of Gordon Campbell – not to allow MLA John Slater to run as a Liberal in the next election due to an alleged drinking problem.
Surely, not since Molière’s Tartuffe have we seen an act of such blatant and appalling hypocrisy.
