Great community
Each year a variety of organizations work hard to create Christmas hampers for families in our community that need a little help. At Fulton Secondary our resource room of students with special needs, and the adults that work with them, put together hampers for three families in our school community that were going through a tough time.
We are very thankful for the donations from the staff at Fulton, this shows what a great family our school is. We are proud to be part of a school with staff that donates so generously to a cause like this!
We spoke to many businesses in our community and asked for support with these hampers. We were absolutely thrilled and shocked by the generosity of many of these businesses. We wanted to take a moment to recognize the kindness and Christmas spirit that these business shared, so that everyone in Vernon could see just how great these businesses and the people that run them are: Buy Low, Home Depot, Bookland, Vantage One credit union, London Drugs, Safeway, Rexall Drug store, Save On Foods, Swan Lake Nursery, Tim Hortons, Morning Star, Fulton Secondary staff.
Our hampers would never have been as bountiful without their generous donations of cash, gift cards, food and other necessities. Thank you all so much. We are proud to be a part of a community that works so hard to make things better for others this time of year. Thank you and Happy New Year to you all!
