Everything I like is bad for me

This past week has been a bit depressing. Reports have come out about iced coffee drinks, sun tanning booths and talking on cell phones while driving.

I kinda like doing those things, and now I feel like a bad person. Or a yuppie ditz.

I'm addicted to iced coffee drinks.

There isn't a Starbucks in my town (can you believe it?) and I don't particularly like coffee (I've never had a cup of the black goo in my life), but chocolate and coffee create a perfect, harmonious union of yummy in my mouth.

The Den Report, Stopping the presses on Printers; Ebell released

It's been a quiet week in the B.C. Lions' camp, with the team buckling down for serious workouts after getting off to their worst start since 2004.

With the Lions at 1-3, a small but vocal group of restless fans have been calling for the return of 2004 CFL Most Outstanding Player Casey Printers, who was jettisoned by Hamilton after struggling over parts of two seasons with the Ti-Cats.

The Den Report, Lions stomped 48-10 by Stamps

BC Lions quarterback Jarious Jackson said in four words what took three agonizing hours to watch: "They kicked our ass[es]."

The Lions were thrashed 48-10 by the defending Grey Cup Champion Calgary Stampeders Friday night and now that we are about 36 hours removed from the beat-down Calgary laid upon B.C., some analysis is needed.

The Den Report, Week 4

The Den Report opens up for week four of the CFL season with some exciting news as slotback Lyle Green's wife Olivia has given birth to a healthy six-pound, seven-ounce baby boy named Micah.

In other news, the team has brought in yet another import offensive tackle in ex-University of Miami starter Chris Rutledge. The 22-year-old started at tackle for the Hurricanes in 2007 and 2008, stands 6-foot-5 and tips the scales at 311 pounds.

The Den Report, Lions maul Esks 40-22

The Lions got their first win of the season last night against Edmonton and it was due in no small part to backup quarterback Jarious Jackson, who threw for 362 yards and four touchdowns in relief of an injured Buck Pierce.

Jackson was able to get both Geroy Simon and Paris Jackson their first 100-yard games of the season after they both struggled during the first two games of the season.
