Oak Bay News returns to Ave

Finding a new home is not always easy. But as any realtor will tell you it’s all about location, location, location, so when the Oak Bay News went looking for a new home, well there was no doubt we would find it in the heart of Oak Bay.

Looking for office space is not much different than choosing a new home to live in. We needed enough space for our current ‘family’ and enough space for our family to grow in the future. And we found it all right here in Athlone Court.

We have great neighbours with Athlone Travel, Fairway Market, Barclay’s Fine Custom Jewellers, Sweet Delights, the Penny Farthing Liquor Store and more.

We’re right in the heart of Oak Bay, just where a community newspaper wants to be.

We’re here for you, to keep you connected to the community, to bring you the stories of local volunteers, your friends and neighbours; to keep you in touch with our schools, recreation opportunities, local government and our vital business sector.

You’ll find us at the coffee shop, in the municipal hall and at the church bazaar. We chronicle the life of Oak Bay and having a local office makes it that much better.

The Oak Bay News is the only media source located in Oak Bay, where residents have direct access to share their comments and concerns about the community. We invite you to share your views with us.

The Oak Bay News staff and the staff of our quarterly magazine Tweed are looking forward to being closer to our community.

We’re now located at 207A - 2187 Oak Bay Ave. Oak Bay BC, V8R 1G1.
