Start the week off with some hugs

SLUGS: Slugs to the local bus service for sending the mini busses to pick up 30 to 40 high school students morning and afternoon. They obviously can’t fit that many people so stop sending them and send the regular busses.

HUGS: To the incredible and amazing woman from Balfour, who has been a driving force behind Souls4Soles for many years. We think you are the soul behind this project.

HUGS: Great big fuzzy hugs to the people in Uphill with good dogs off leash at night. It has been three years since we have lost a cat or fruit tree to the bears, coyotes and raccoons. Hugs to the dogs.

SLUGS: Slugs to whoever painted the rocks up at Pulpit Rock. Some people seem to get a perverse thrill defacing public and private property. What a disgrace!

HUGS: Huge bouquets of hugs to all the doctors who contributed to bring the recent CARE (Comprehensive Approach to Rural Emergencies) course to our hospital! Because of their generosity, doctors, nurses and paramedics received a valuable opportunity to train together. I can’t express how much I enjoyed the course and am amazed at how much I learned!  Many, many thanks.

HUGS: A huge hug to the kind gentleman who paid it forward to a mom buying soccer gear! Your immense generosity was so unexpected and put a bright smile on my face all day and throughout the following week! Your random act of kindness made me remember that the universe is abundant. I promise to do the same for another!

HUGS: To all the volunteers and organizations who helped put on this year’s Easter Egg Hunt at Lakeside Park. My kids had a great time.
