Torch relay to stop at Burnaby Village Museum Feb. 11

The Burnaby stop for the Olympic Torch Relay will be at Burnaby Village Museum on the morning of Feb. 11. The museum “provides a unique experience, a unique backdrop to Burnaby rather than city hall,” said Matthew Coyne of Tourism Burnaby. “It’s an attraction we’re taking the opportunity to showcase.”
It also has the capacity to accommodate the large crowds expected.
A community cultural celebration will follow at Metropolis at Metrotown mall starting at 2:30 p.m.
