It took them until November, but the Aquatico Bay Bar & Grill Sharks are out of the tank.

The Hitmen dropped to 6-4 in the Interior Hockey League.

Therron Romanovitch was the lone Hitmen shooter to connect. Kurtis Jacques, who scored four times in regulation, Kyle Pliszka and Brad Semeschuk were stymied by Shark goalie Braden Armstrong.

Stockley supplied 2+1 in regulation, while Glinsbockel pocketed 1+3 and other Sharks’ goals came from Kinsman, Ryan Robertson and Miskosky. It was 5-4 Silver Star at the break.

Semeschuk earned 1+3 in regulation for the Hitmen, while Pliszka scored once.

In the early nighter Wednesday at Wesbild, Kris Grebliunas pulled the hat trick as the Re/Max Rangers brushed back Alexander’s Beach Pub Black Hawks 5-2.

Jon Widing and Mike Jodoin also scored for the Rangers (4-4-0-1), who got three assists from Steve Vallier and 26 saves from Andrew Hoglund.

Corey Webb scored twice for the Hawks (6-4), while Shane Carter had two helpers.

In women’s hockey, the Buy-Low Foods Vixens shut down Salmon Arm 2-0.

Derri-Ann Cooper opened the scoring, assisted by Christine Bosworth.

Cooper added an empty-netter to seal the shutout win for Patti Hansen. Kerry Fairweather and Christine Sherman were standouts defensively.
