Christina Spence Proteau of Port Alberni can add another B.C. Women’s Amateur title to her already impressive golf resume.

Spence Proteau, who last won it in 2006, entered the final round Friday morning at Salmon Arm’s Canoe Creek Golf Course with a two-stroke cushion, but carded a 1-under 35 on the front nine and a 5-over par 39 on the back nine to force a playoff with Soo Bin Kim of Port Coquitlam.

Port Alberni’s Jackie Little, formerly of Vernon, shot a fourth round 1-over par 73 to finish in a three-way tie for eighth place.

Little shot earlier rounds of 77-79-76 to finish at plus-17.
