Two Vernon projects are among the 26 finalists in the Okanagan Mainline Real Estate Board’s commercial building awards gala.
The Sandman tower and Tolko Industries’ corporate office will compete during the Thursday event at the Delta Grand Okanagan Resort in Kelowna.
The event will highlight the best in commercial building in OMREB’s jurisdiction – from Peachland to Revelstoke – and will celebrate the best in commercial building projects completed between Jan. 1, 2007 and Sept. 1, 2009.
“The judges told us they had a very difficult time making up their minds on the award winners,” said Ed Lugossy, with OMREB.
“There are a wide variety of buildings from throughout the region, with many different styles and unique aspects about them.”
The event starts with a reception at 6 p.m., followed by dinner at 7 p.m. and the award presentations at 8:15 p.m.
