A new service is offering help to realtors and small businesses.

Crantara Office Assistance provides on-site or virtual assistance on a sub-contract basis.

Owners Joni Cranston and Tara Steck have worked in the fields of marketing, office administration, retail and real estate in the Vernon area.

“We saw that a very important segment of business was spreading itself too thin, specifically those small to medium-sized businesses who need occasional help but don’t have a need or desire to hire an employee,” said Cranston and Steck in a release.

. They have pooled their resources and created Crantara Office Assistance, to give these businesses the helping hand they need that‟s cost effective and convenient.

With an unusual, fluctuating marketplace and the holiday rush just around the corner, this economy calls for special strategies and thinking „outside the box‟. Joni and Tara can „fill in the gaps‟ on an hourly or flat fee basis and free the employer from the extra expenses that having an employee entails, such as Holiday Pay, EI, CPP, Worksafe and so on.
