The Armstrong Spallumcheen Chamber of Commerce is getting set for its annual general meeting and presentation of the 2009/10 board.
The evening will take place Thursday at the Oddfellows Hall.
Mayors Chris Pieper of Armstrong and Spallumcheen’s Will Hansma will swear in new board members.
Keynote speaker will be Sharla Zandvliet, of the Vernon Junior Chamber, speaking on “Leaving Your Footprint’.” Sharla recently won the Junior Chamber National Effective Speaking competition in Winnipeg.
The evening will end with a recap of the 2008/2009-year.
Members in good standing and guests are encouraged to attend. Tickets are $25 per person or $130 per table of six. ‘The Other Company’ will cater the meal.
