Skating excellence
Francesca Amante of the Summerland Skating Club competed at the 2009 Autumn Leaves Competition in Kamloops BC, Oct. 16 to 18. She competed in Gold Interpretive and in Senior Silver Ladies Free-skate Event. Amante came home with two medals, a gold for the Interpretive event, and a silver for the Free-skate event. She would like to thank her coach Dale Wood, for all of her help and support in achieving her goals.
