Pee Wees rock Sicamous

The Summerland Sunview Pee Wee Girls fastball team proudly represented in Sicamous June 13 and 14.
Game 1 was a 14-4 win for Sunview, with catcher Alyssa Hollis making a throw to get the runner stealing to second out.
Game 2 was another win for Sunview at 18-5, with Sadie Schneider stealing home off her hit and bringing in two RBIs. Amy Richards made an awesome steal from third base, sliding safe at home.
Game 3 was an 18-1 win for Sunview, with Alexa Brickenden’s grand slam home run bringing in three RBIs.
Lyndsey Jenner made a quick pick up at third and threw to first for the third out. Sydney Clement’s hit to left field gave her a double with an RBI.
In game 4 on Sunday, Sunview saw their first loss at 5-7, with Madison Wilms once again aweing the crowd with her pitching.
It was a close game but the opposition came back in the last inning for the win.
Sunview headed into the semifinals to meet the same team they had just played.
The semi-final was an intense game.
Team spirits were high and every inning saw each team striving for the win, keeping the crowd on the edge of their seats.
Sunview never gave up, with the girls cheering each other on. The team came away with a final score of 7-8.
The girls give a big thanks to their coaches for their support and dedication throughout the season.
