Dear Editor:
Sunday past was just such a beautiful day my husband and I decided to tour the Summerland Ornamental Gardens.
What a splendid sight. Even though summer’s bloom is over, we were still able to enjoy the gardens.
The perennials had been cut back and there were signs of new plantings everywhere.
We extend our thanks to the Friends of the Gardens who have done such a wonderful job.
A spring tour of the gardens is definitely on our list of things to do in the new year.
