Dear Editor:
I would like to thank several Summerland businesses for their support of the Summerland Youth Centre Association Daycamp/Playground Programs.
Firstly, Josh of Murray’s Pizza for teaching us all how to make pizza with patience and humor. Throughout the summer he has donated over 60 pizzas, and many hours of his time, to the program.
Next, the staff at SADI for their ongoing support of the youth of summerland, and for the use of their projector screen. Also, Ms. Altena and the staff of the Summerland Trout Hatchery for their weekly educational tours.
Our programs could not run without the support of our community and we would like to thank everyone who has played a part in creating a wonderful summer for the children of Summerland.
