The great pumpkin

Marc Coderre, left, had the closest guess for the weight of a large pumpkin at the Summerland Library. He guessed the weight at 167 lbs. The actual weight was 165 lbs. The pumpkin was on display for It’s The Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown. As the winner, Coderre received the pumpkin as well as a gift bag of books, chocolate and a family dinner from Murray’s Pizza. At right is Mayor Janice Perrino.
