Join Summerland Singers and Players for their monthly play reading tonight, Thursday, Nov. 19 at 7 p.m. at Summerland Alliance Church.
This month’s play is a comedy murder mystery.
On stage
Don’t miss I Hate Hamlet on the Cannery Stage in the Cannery Trade Centre in Penticton.
Shows are Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights at 8 p.m. and Sundays at 3 p.m. until Nov. 28.

In concert
Keep Calm and Carry on Tour, featuring Dave Lang and David Newberry, will be at the Penticton Art Gallery on Sunday, Nov. 22.
Doors open at 7:30 p.m., show begins at 8 p.m.
It will be held in the intimate concert setting of the Tea Room with seating limited to 50.

The Summerland Asset Development Initiative has a number of great, fun activities happening at the Unity Youth Club this fall including Monday Night Movies.
Every Monday through November they are showing a movie at 6 p.m.
Popcorn is provided and a variety of pop will be on sale.

Summerland musicians Linnea Good and Tracy Fehr are both finalists for the BC Interior Music Awards’ Gospel/Christian Album of the Year.
A show of light
Summerland’s 22nd Festival of Lights is Friday, Nov. 27 from 5:30 to 9 p.m.
There will be shopping specials, entertainment, kids crafts and activities, food and fireworks.
And at the Summerland Art Gallery, Season Sparkles presents an opportunity to shop for unique, handcrafted gifts.
Artists sought
The Penticton Art Gallery is looking for artists working in all media for 2010 Legacies Now.
This show would run from Jan. 22 to March 14.
