As fall progresses more things are happening at the Legion. The next General Meeting is Sunday, October 18 at 1 p.m.
The lounge is now hosting Nintendo Wii games.There is bowling every Tuesday afternoon at 2:30 p.m., with a chance for prizes just for participating. It is great fun and no experience is required.
Kathy, our new manager has made arrangements for some interesting programs and courses in November.
National Safe Boating is on November 2 from 6:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Managing Chronic Illness is once a week program, that runs for six weeks starting November 5 at 7 p.m.
A Quilting course will be offered once a week for three weeks beginning November 9, from 7 to 9 p.m.
Food Safe will be offered from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m., on November 13.

Now for the fun part. We are having a Halloween party on October 31.There will be a $5 dinner following the meat draw and then entertainment, supplied by John Allison Productions.Costumes are encouraged. Come out and dance with us.
We will be initiating new Legion members during the meat draw on November 7 and finally, just a reminder to join us at the Legion following the Remembrance Day services at the Cenotaph in Veterans Square on November 11.
