Donnie started at the Similkameen Spotlight in Jan. 1997, writing a story on the Mighty Pumpkins hockey tournament. He started writing sports, then ventured into feature articles and community events. Donnie was awarded "Canadian Sports Reporter of the Year" in the spring of 2001.

Lisa is a mother of three, who has lived and worked in Princeton for the majority of her life. Her career with the Similkameen Spotlight began in 2003 as classifieds manager and graphics designer. Throughout the years, Lisa has gained experience to include writing and sales, but her joy is held within the happiness of customers with her designs.

Wendy is a mother of four who has lived in Princeton for the last nine years. Wendy began her career with the Similkameen Spotlight in June of 2007, as the office assistant, and is now the office and classifieds manager.

John Sandness was born in Duluth, Minnesota. He taught high school science and woodshop in Washington, Oregon, and Princeton, B.C., retiring in the Similkameen Valley. He enjoys the beautiful B.C. countryside, fishing, photography, hiking, tying flies and fishing.

Nelson Lewis
Nelson Lewis was born in Nova Scotia. He has travelled Canada several times, has driven the Alaska Highway six times, and lived in Whitehorse for 15 years. Nelson began his writing career at the age of 10 and has been published in several newspapers. Nelson is a food columnist for the Similkameen Spotlight in Princeton, B.C.
