After going 0-2, South Okanagan's midget rep team took third place during a tournament in Summerland Oct. 16-18.
The midget team took on Trail and both team put on a great effort. With just a few minutes remaining in the game, South Okanagan scored the winner in a 5-4 game and clinched silver. Putting them in that position was a dominating 12-2 win against Westside. Prior to that game, South Okanagan had lost to close games 6-5 to Summerland and 7-5 to West Vancouver.
South Ok will be playing their first league game in Penticton at the Memorial Arena, on Oct. 24 5 p.m.
