Lakers announce ticket prices and exhibition schedule

The Penticton Lakers are pleased to announce their ticket prices for the 2009-2010 hockey season. Adults will pay $7, students and seniors will pay $5 with children under 12 $4. Seating for all games will be on a first come first serve basis. Although season tickets are not available, fans will be able to purchase advance tickets for any games. Tickets will be available at the South Okanagan Events Centre box office. All Lakers home games will be played in the Community Rink at the Events Centre.

 

“We have set our prices at these levels to make our games affordable for all. It is our goal to make Lakers’ home games an event everyone will enjoy,” said general manager Blair Noel.

 

The Lakers will play three exhibition games before their season starts on September 12th. Friday September 4 the team travels to Princeton for a pre-season match against the Posse. On Sunday Sept. 6 fans will have a chance to check out the team as they play host to Kamloops in an afternoon game starting at 2 p.m. at the Community Rink in the SOEC. Admission to this game will be $2 for all seats with proceeds being donated to the Canadian Cancer Society. The Lakers final exhibition game will be on Monday Sept. 7 against the Storm in a game to be played in Clearwater.
