Playing catch up with Chilliwack FC didn't help the Penticton Pinnacles get the win they needed in Pacific Coast Soccer League. Pinnacles coach John Holman watched as his team fell behind 2-0 at Townsend Park in Chilliwack before losing 4-3. In the second half, they received offence from Fernando Bamberg and Randy Hubber, then Chilliwack struck again for a 3-2 lead. The Pinnacles would tie the game on Hubber's second goal before the home team put the dagger through the Pinnacles hearts.
The loss gives the PInnacles a 1-5-3 record, putting them in fifth place in the Reserve Division with six points. They trail Chilliwack by two. The loss made their next home game at King's Park a must win if they have any hopes of making the playoffs. The women's team earned a 3-3 draw with the North Shore Girls Soccer Club. Scoring for the Pinnacles were Nicole Fraser with two and Kim Conway. The Pinnacles are third in the Reserve Division at 6-2-4 with 22 points. They trail CMFSC Xtreme by one for second place.
