Drug trafficking offences adding up for Penticton man
A Penticton man will be facing more drug trafficking charges after the RCMP Drug Task Force's latest bust.
Last Wednesday officers executed a drug search warrant at a residence at 296 Maple St. in Penticton. A 45-year-old man was arrested for possession of marijuana for the purpose of trafficking and held for court.
"The man was already free on bail at the time of his latest arrest, having been charged with three drug trafficking offences last summer," said Cpl. Brad Myhre.
Three other adults who resided at the house are also expected to face similar charges, including a 63-year-old female.
Myhre said officers seized approximately 300 grams (10 ounces) of marijuana plus assorted trafficking paraphernalia.
