Man killed in Highway 3 accident
A man is dead after an motor vehicle accident Thursday evening near Keremeos on Highway 3.
RCMP said at 5:40 p.m. a white Dodge pickup was travelling west on Highway 3 near Schnieder Drive when it crossed the centreline colliding with a Peterbilt Tractor Trailer.
"The male driver and sole occupant of the Dodge pickup was transported to Penticton Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead," said Const. Andrea Rodrigues. "The name of the deceased is being withheld at this time pending notification of next of kin."
B.C. ambulance attended the scene with Keremeos RCMP detachment members and South Okanagan Traffic Services was later called to provide investigative assistance.
