Police locate hunter's body

Search crews have discovered the body of an 83-year-old Naramata man who went missing Sept. 9.
RCMP report that John Light was found dead inside his vehicle that had gone over a 1,000- foot cliff off of Greyback Road.
Light had not been heard from since he went hunting early in the day Sept. 9. Search efforts began that night, with the RCMP helicopter scanning for signs of the man the next morning. Crews from Penticton Search and Rescue were also called out to search potential locations.
RCMP learned of a Light's possible whereabouts at 3 p.m. Sept. 10 through his cell phone. Search efforts were directed towards the co-ordinates on Greyback Road, where the body was located.
