Ready for liftoff —

Helifor Canada technicians Wes Rumple (left), Adrian Corcoran and Chris Samus check the mechanics of the Boeing 234 Chinook helicopter during a recent fuel stop at Penticton Regional Airport on its way back to Port Alberni from northern Ontario where it was used to install a hydro tower. The heavy-lift aircraft is the largest certified helicopter in North America and is the only one of its kind in Canada. It is used mainly for logging on the West Coast.
