Watch the birdie
Watch the birdie — Ken Fujino of the South Okanagan Rehabilitation Centre for Owls holds a great horned owl for photographers just prior to the bird’s release near Naramata Sunday. The orphaned raptor arrived at the facility early this year where it had been cared for until mature enough to be set free. The centre is desperately seeking funding to continue its services following provincial funding cuts.
