The S.S. Sicamous Restoration Society celebrates the ship’s 94th birthday May 19.

The ship will officially open on this day and there will be a celebration with cake and a visit with one of the Sicamous’ great pioneers, Fred Taylor.

There will be a centennial exhibit called Famous Boats of the Okanagan Through the Past Century, which opens June 14.

The photo gallery, with pieces from all over the valley including photographer Lum Stocks, will feature the history of the steam ship through photographs and models.
