Bruins hit the ice

The Pee Wee Rep Bruins traveled to Summerland for their first game of the regular season last weekend. The game ended in a tie with each team finding the back of the net six times. Goal scorers for the Bruins were Jalen Zummack, Caden Delaurier, Joe Small (2), Daine Elphicke, Triston Lebrun and RJ Salel. Three stars: 1) Joe Small 2) Jalen Zummack 3) Nathan Harmel.

On Sunday the Pee Wee Reps faced Merritt at home in Winfield. Merritt took the victory with a score of 9-6. Bruins goals were scored by Daine Elphicke, Jalen Zummack (3), Triston Lebrun and Bryce Battye. Despite the loss goalie Nathan Harmel did an outstanding job in goal, making 47 saves. Bantam Rep

The Bantam Rep Bruins also played two games this weekend and fared the same as the younger Pee Wee Reps. The team’s first game ended in a 5-5 draw against South Okanagan. The following day the team was defeated by Revelstoke by a score of 4-1.
