Regional park for Spion Kop?
RDCO to gather input on Spion Kop park
You’re invited to share your comments and thoughts on the creation of a Regional Park for Crown Lands in an area of Lake Country known as Spion Kop.
A Public Information Session will be held Thursday, November 5, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. at the Beasley Park Hall, 3450 Woodsdale Road in Lake Country.
Representatives from the consulting team contracted by the Regional District of Central Okanagan will be on hand to provide information and receive your input as a Regional Park Crown Land Acquisition, Development and Management Plan is being created for approximately 311-hectares (768-acres) between Okanagan and Wood lakes in Lake Country. You’re also invited to fill out an online survey that will be available on November 5 by visiting the Regional District website www.regionaldistrict.com, selecting the Quick Links – Spionkop Survey menu options.
