CRIME: THEFT OF TOOLS

Lake Country RCMP are investigating the theft of various tools from a work trailer that was parked at a site in the 12,000 block of Shoreline Drive overnight between Thursday October 15 to Friday, October 16th. The tools stolen include hammer drills, an angle grinder, nail puller, builder’s level, generator, mitre saw, hammer, cordless drills, a skill saw, nail guns and a ghetto blaster radio. Tire tracks left on the scene indicate a pick up truck was being driven, and a red club steering lock was left behind.

CRIME: THEFT OF COMPUTER

The culprits that hit a worksite on Shoreline Drive may be responsible for the theft of a municipal fire department vehicle computer at Shoreline Drive. During the same night, someone broke into the vehicle window and stole a Panasonic Toughbook CF30 which is used to assist in firefighting. The bottom of the computer is engraved with either ‘LCFD’ or ‘CMD 71.’
