Another close call along Wood Lake corridor

Shortly after 3:00 p.m. last Thursday Lake Country RCMP attended the scene of a three-vehicle collision on Highway 97 just north of Ponderosa Road.

An initial report states that two vehicles were headed northbound while the third was headed south.

The four occupants involved in the crash each received various non-life threatening injuries and were taken to Kelowna General Hospital by ambulance.

The section of road was closed for close to an hour and a half while police dealt with the situation. The cause of the accident is under investigation.
