The Carr’s Landing Artists will be hosting their Christmas Art Show “All Under One Roof,” at 16766 Carr’s Landing Road on November 7 and 8, from 10:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m.
The Christmas show will feature the 2009 InKlein Design Collection of luxury eco apparel and accessories and the 2009 KIZZ Collection of Gems, Metals combined to create unique one of a kind art jeweller. Dale will feature her unique jewellery combining her healing stones, and crystals. Doug will be featuring his scenic panoramic photography of British Columbia and other locations. We will also be featuring original paintings and art cards by Hanny Muggeridge and original paintings, sculptures and etchings by Chris Malmkvist. Meet the artists for a chat and hear more of their story, whilst seeking out a unique gift for someone special or create your own wish list in time for Christmas.
“Experimentation is the essence of my art,” says Chris Malmkvist. Chris’ new still life works features his use of reflections of light to create his original “wine” paintings. Hanny’s original paintings are detailed and intricate as can be seen by her latest work “Bunchberry and Mushroom.” Her painting subjects are of the country side, either as detailed explorations or vibrant abstracts that capture landforms in color and light. www.myartclub.com
Doug is a photographer specializing in large prints of ultra-high resolution photographic compositions crafted by blending many, sometimes hundreds, of individual images. Local subjects are featured, including wineries, golf courses, and general Okanagan scenery.
