Re: Thanks to the local RCMP
Last week I was at a local gas station/convenience store when a young man began acting erratically and in a threatening manner towards the customers and the store’s young workers. The RCMP were called and two officers arrived rapidly. They immediately took a position that placed themselves between the man and bystanders, putting themselves in harms way to protect us. They evaluated the situation quickly and commenced talking to the young man to determine his problem. The RCMP officer talking to the man had a relaxed and friendly manner that immediately calmed the individual. The situation was diffused and resolved quickly, non-violently and to everyones satisfaction. The RCMP officers involved were obviously well trained professionals with caring dispositions.
Thanks to the responding officers for a job well done.
